Conservation Through Public Health: A discussion with our FIRST official Global Partner

One of Population Connection’s first partners was Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH). Based in Uganda, CTPH is an award-winning leader in gorilla and wildlife conservation. The organization’s vital mission is to focus on the health and interspecies relationships of wildlife, humans, and livestock in and around East Africa’s protected areas.

To mark this year's Earth Day, we'll be joined by CTPH's Founder and Executive Director Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka. Dr. Gladys also sits on Population Connection’s Board of Directors and has won innumerable awards for her work, including a United Nations Environment Programme’s Champion of the Earth for Science and Innovation (2021), and an Uganda Veterinary Association World Veterinary Day Award (2020).
